Senior Systems Integrator - 11/00 to Present

Completed new Internet framework for the organization consisting of multiple portals utilizing Microsoft.NET. New web sites were designed using Visual Studio.NET and programmed utilizing ASP.NET,  VB.NET, and C#. Modified Microsoft supplied IBS portal framework to support multiple portals. Enhancements include view and edit role based security which determines what areas of a site can be viewed or administered, multiple levels of administration which include system administrators, site administrators, and content administrators, XML-driven dynamic JavaScript based drop-down menu system which presents each user a unique set of menu choices based on what they are authorized to see, public and private images libraries where image files are stored in the back-end SQL Server 2000 database. Enhanced web based user, system, and role administration. This framework provides a complete content management system where all documents, images, html, and all other forms of content are stored in the back-end SQL Server 2000 database. Expiration dates can be set so that obsolete information is no longer displayed. All database access is handled via SQL stored procedures. Designed seamless integration with the organization's other ColdFusion based web servers and intranet applications.

Upgraded Web Servers from Windows NT to Windows 2000 Server systems utilizing Microsoft Internet Information Services in place of O'Reilly WebSite. Modified ColdFusion based web sites to utilize multiple Front-End servers and SQL Server based Back-end database server.  Integrated multiple external pilot web sites into the organization's web framework. Developed and supported ColdFusion based applications for various pilot groups.  Studied Microsoft Sharepoint Portal as a candidate for the organization's Intranet. Working on new Internet framework for the organization consisting of multiple portals or virtual web sites utilizing Microsoft.NET. New sites are being designed using Visual Stuio.NET and programmed utilizing ASP.NET and VB.NET.
